My WOC nurse while I was in the hospital was amazing but it’s a different story when you’re at home. The home health nurse watched me change everything and reassured me that I’m doing everything right and gave me some additional advice. That took a huge load off my mind as far as leaks, smells and skin issues go. Second I’ve found that sucking it up and getting back to life has been the best way for me to get over fears of others reactions. 12 weeks is nothing in the grand scheme of things and once this is over you’ll have some good stories.
